Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TailorMe website at tailorme.co.za (the "Site"), booking any service, or interacting with our digital platforms — including any third-party integrations such as TikTok or social media channels — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services or platforms.
2. About TailorMe
TailorMe (Pty) Ltd ("TailorMe", "we", "us", or "our") is a bespoke tailoring studio registered in South Africa, operating from Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. We provide made-to-measure garment services for individuals, corporate clients, and wedding parties.
3. Services
TailorMe offers the following services:

Alterations and adjustments
All services are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or written confirmation from TailorMe. Pricing is provided at consultation and may vary based on fabric choice, complexity, and turnaround time.
4. Appointments and Consultations
Consultations may be booked via our website, WhatsApp, telephone, or in person. TailorMe reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments with reasonable notice. Repeated no-shows may result in a deposit being required to secure future bookings.
5. Payments and Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of up to 50% of the total order value may be required to confirm a commission. The balance is due upon completion and before collection of the garment. TailorMe accepts EFT, card, and cash payments.
In the event of order cancellation after production has begun, TailorMe reserves the right to retain the deposit and recover costs for materials already sourced.
6. Turnaround Time
Estimated completion times are provided at the time of order and vary based on garment complexity and current workload.
Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. We will notify you promptly if there are any delays.
Rush orders may be accommodated at an additional charge, subject to availability.
7. Fittings
Bespoke garments typically require one or more fittings to achieve the perfect fit.
Up to two fittings are included in the price of a bespoke order.
Additional fittings required due to significant changes in the client's measurements after the initial order may be charged separately.
It is your responsibility to attend scheduled fittings. Missed fittings may delay your order.
8. Alterations and Satisfaction
TailorMe guarantees a fitting process as part of every commission. Minor alterations included within the scope of the original order are performed at no additional charge. Changes requested after final delivery that fall outside the original brief may be quoted separately.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation after deposit paid: The 50% deposit is non-refundable as it covers materials and labour already committed to your order.
Cancellation before work begins: If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and before any materials have been ordered, we may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.
Completed garments: As all garments are made to measure, we do not offer refunds on completed orders unless there is a proven manufacturing defect.
Defects: If your garment has a manufacturing defect, we will rectify it at no charge within 7 days of collection.
10. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate measurements or attending a fitting so we can measure you correctly.
Inform us of any significant changes to your measurements (e.g., weight change) before production begins.
Collecting your completed garment within 30 days of notification. Garments not collected within 30 days may incur a storage fee.
Uncollected garments after 90 days may be donated to charity at our discretion.
11. Fabric and Materials
Where you supply your own fabric, we accept no responsibility for the quality, suitability, or availability of that fabric.
We reserve the right to decline to work with fabric we consider unsuitable.
Fabric quantities recommended by us are estimates. Additional fabric may be required.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, photography, design elements, logos, and brand assets — is the exclusive property of TailorMe and protected under South African intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any content without prior written consent.
13. Third-Party Platforms
TailorMe maintains a presence on third-party platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Google. Interactions on those platforms are governed by the respective platform's own terms and policies, in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for the conduct of third-party platforms.
Where TailorMe uses third-party APIs (including TikTok's Content Posting API) to distribute marketing content, no personal user data is collected or shared through those integrations beyond what the platform's own privacy framework provides.
14. Limitation of Liability
TailorMe's liability is limited to the value of the garment order in question.
We are not liable for indirect losses, including but not limited to disappointment, event non-attendance, or consequential costs arising from delays.
We take reasonable care of garments left in our custody, but accept no liability for pre-existing damage or loss beyond our control.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
16. Changes to These Terms
TailorMe reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
